• Coolant Flush is Mandatory: If your old housing failed internally and allowed oil into your cooling system, you must thoroughly flush your cooling system with a dedicated cooling system cleaner multiple times. Residual oil will rapidly destroy your rubber radiator hoses and coolant expansion tank.

Workshop Pro-Tip: Be careful with the plastic cap torque! When you do future oil changes on the N47, always torque the plastic oil filter cap to the specified 25 Nm (marked on the cap). Overtightening it cracks the top collar of the filter housing or twists the internal standpipe, which will immediately trigger low oil pressure warnings and severe internal leaks!
